Boys Basketball

Director: Head Coach, John Halagan enters his 21st season at the helm of the Warrior program. Highlights from last season include a Pacific Coast League title won by the Varsity team (the 10th Varsity League title in school history). Warrior lower level teams have captured 36 league titles as well since 1985. The Varsity also qualified for the CIF playoffs 3AAA for the 25th time in the last 28 seasons. Previous playoff history includes four trips to the CIF finals (87, 88, 91, 97), two CIF titles (87 and 97), and the 2A State title in 1987.

Incoming 9th
Grade Clinic Mondays June 25-Wednesdays*- Fridays July/20 (first day Monday, June 25)
*No clinic held Wednesday July 4

Clinic times- 10:00am-12:00pm @ WHS Main Gym

The clinic for all incoming 9th graders will be conducted by the WHS coaching staff. Clinic instruction will address offensive skills, defensive techniques, transition play and team motion concepts. Players will build up to 5 on 5 games to instruct proper team play. This clinic is an opportunity for those interested in playing basketball at WHS to help them prepare for tryouts in September.
Some clinic players may be asked to participate in two weekend tournaments* TBA.
